Is there such a thing as irrelevant job experience and the answer is yes. Including past job roles that have no relation to the job you're applying for can confuse employers. If the experience is from a different field, focus on transferable skills rather than unrelated tasks. Example of Irrelevant Experience: "Worked as a lifeguard at a community pool, where I monitored swimmers and enforced pool rules." Unless the job directly applies to safety, management, or customer service, leave out unrelated roles. Instead, focus on relevant tasks like organization, communication, and leadership.

Why is it important for lifeguards? The main roles of a lifeguard are to prevent accidents and spot potential trouble/hazards before they become life-threatening, and responding to emergencies when needed. They also educate the public about the risks associated with aquatic activities and how to be Water Smart. What is the most important part of being a lifeguard? Responsibility. From the outside, it may look like lifeguards are paid just to stand or sit by the side of the water, but there is so much more to the job. Keeping people safe while they swim and play by the water is a huge responsibility and the core purpose of any lifeguard.

With Easter here are we proactive in our efforts in making sure that our sites are adequately safe guarded during the holidays? To ensure the effective close out procedures , is my admin control set up correctly? Security guards trained and emergency reporting procedures in place? Stacking of open materials checklist up to date? The holidays always pose hazards to the exploring children! Open pits, open electrical boxes, ladders not locked away,exposed access to erected scaffold towers,any hazardous chemical agents not locked away,site access uncontrolled or guarded,plant access, etc Drownings in exposed open excavations and water bodies are a major Risk during this period. Have a safe and deserved holiday after your Close Out Procedures Correctly Actioned and Signed off.
