Rimpage is inviting all nations to send their best player to the biggest tournament in the history of basketball! Will your country BE THERE?
Rimpage: the future of basketball is player-centred What if the future of basketball wasn’t just about talent, but also integrity and leadership — where every player is truly the master of their destiny? By Katarina Miletic - Rimpage Co-Creator What if the future of basketball wasn’t just about talent, but also integrity and leadership—where every player is truly the master of their destiny? This is the heart of Rimpage, the world’s only player-centred basketball super-league. It is a vision unlike any other, where the players themselves are at the centre of everything, leading their own path, supported by a system built to honour integrity, independence, and community. Rimpage is not just the only world basketball axis—it is a movement, a game-changer in the way the sport is played, governed, and lived. Rimpage doesn’t operate like traditional leagues where sponsorships and outside interests dictate the terms. Instead, our vision is pure: self-sustaining, self-funded, and above all, founded on principles that ensure integrity is never compromised... Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gidhh4kb

One great idea can snowball into a powerful movement. It can unite people as a force for good and change the trajectory of lives. When an organization goes all in on a mission to build strong communities, the rewards, the shared achievements, and the deep sense of belonging can be immeasurable. At the USTA MAF, we understand that building thriving communities is a marathon, not a sprint. Our aim to ensure everyone has access to the classic sport of tennis is ongoing. We work tirelessly to improve lives and build bridges in diverse communities. Tennis has ample health benefits and socially connects people - two things desperately needed in America. We aim to enrich lives by encouraging tennis participation on a community-wide level. This includes grassroots programs that empower underserved youth and competitive tournaments that fuel the dreams of aspiring athletes. Our shared purpose to get Americans to embrace tennis unites us and drives us forward. More importantly, it reminds us that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves. If you are a leader intent on bringing positive change, consider the impact of that first step. Take it today, and grow your community now. #communitybuilding #tenniscommunity #USTAMAF #youthsports #sportsforsocialgood

Back to the Future-The Importance of Neighborhood Play While more school districts and city support for sports play is great, there are not enough schools, parks and rec departments, sports leagues or coaches to fix the significant decline in play for our kids----- and as parents --ultimately we control that experience. We feel the answer for kids to reengage with sports play is in our own backyard --and we just need to open the door after school or during the weekends and just let the kids in your neighborhood find each other and play what they want and when they want ----less control and less scheduling -means better child development for our kids-even if it means a occasional skinned knee or getting teased for wearing a White Sox's cap in a Cubs neighborhood. https://lnkd.in/gyatTWze

Attorney at Kennyhertz Perry | College Sports Law Attorney | Sports Law | NIL Attorney | Business Law | Former Division I College Basketball Player
UConn men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley likes college players being paid and sharing in the revenue they help generate. But he doesn’t like the annual free agency that currently exists in college basketball and the overall amount of player movement. His solution: contracts that commit athletes to a school for a set period of time. He sees protections in that for both schools and athletes. It ensures athletes will be paid what they’re promised (there are still amazingly some NIL collectives that don’t use contracts and some players that don’t demand them), and it provides schools with some roster certainty. Some NIL compensation agreements that schools are planning on using after the House settlement will try and address the player movement. #nameimagelikeness #ncaa #collegeathletics #sportslaw https://lnkd.in/gfgc5sSZ
