This month marks my 3 year Henkel Birthday 🎂. During which, I have seen a lot in the adhesive and packaging world. Throughout this time, I have been and continue to be invited in to work with many companies in the Food, Beverage and e-commerce industries, who have been experiencing at least one of these three issues. 1) They are frustrated about how their adhesives and how they are working in their packaging processes. 😡 - The adhesives can be charring in their hotmelt tanks, leading to blocked nozzles, production downtime and an increase in spare parts spend. - Or, they experience pop-opens of boxes. Either on site, causing re work (and someone taping in some cases!) or complaints from customers or retailers about them coming open. 2) 😟 They are concerned about increasing materials costs. E.g. Films, wraps, energy or board. And are looking to reduce the amount of these that they use to minimise spend. 3) They are looking at sustainability initiatives, but because of the above they find that they are too expensive or slow to implement.
