New International Valuation Standards (IVSs) effective from 31 January 2025 were published last week. One way for RICS members to access the new standards is through our myRICS community valuation group (you can join via the attached link). We now look forward to working with stakeholders to integrate the new IVS into an updated Global Red Book scheduled for publication in autumn this year. This will also consider: implementation of Valuation Review recommendations, practice and process changes driven by evolving areas such as ESG and technology and information related to developments in other relevant global standards and regulation such as IFRS and Basel 3.1. https://lnkd.in/eN9GjRJ4
