Thank you to Achim and his team for the informative tour of your new malting facility (completed in 2022). We were extremely impressed with the innovations and technology used in your state-of-the-art build. Did you know how Agenskalns Bay was formed? Engineer Gustavs Emanuels von Weismanis (1764–1782) led the construction of the Daugava dam, connecting six islands into one chain: Bieķensala, Mūkusala, Lielā Klīversala, Burkānu sala, Mazā Klīversala, and Ķīpsala. In the spring of 1785 or 1786, the Daugava river broke through the dam between Lielā Klīversala and Burkānu sala, creating what we now know as Āgenskalns Bay.

In 1906 we were a start-up - today we are a global group! A look at our history: In 1993, the companies Gossen and Metrawatt, which belonged to the Röchling Group, merged to form Gossen Metrawatt GmbH. Camille Bauer, another Röchling subsidiary, was transferred to the Group. CHASTIA has signed a new contract with BYHOS, spol. s r.o. Stropkov. BYHOS is involved in the management of apartment buildings in Stropkov, operating central heat sources, providing services related to heat supply and repair of malfunctions, plumbing, heating works, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment. The scope of the cooperation is implementation of the CHASTIA information system in the area of heat allocation and billing for contractual partners. 🙌 We have mentioned it before, but the #BalticSeaFactory processing line is up and running! 🎉 After extensive renovations and installations of new specifically adapted equipment, the factory is ready for official opening in June. 🐚 🏭 The equipment is adapted to processing #BalticSea #bluemussels, which are smaller and have thinner shells than mussels usually used.
