In the spirit of celebrating International Day for Persons of Disabilities, Team MarchingSheep is delighted to announce the release of BUILDING DISABILITY CONFIDENT ORGANIZATIONS – A COMPREHENSIVE PLAYBOOK. 18 months, 21 disabilities, 15 countries, 2 campaigns and collective insights from 200+ volunteers, employees and respondents with disabilities, their family members, Doctors, interns, NGOs, and Allies through semi-structured interviews, FGDs, surveys and countless hours of secondary research capturing information on #accessibility, reasonable #accommodation, and different levels of inclusion. The playbook is designed to - 1. Facilitate organizations in building #inclusiveworkplaces systemically. 2. Provide one one-stop-shop of modular information and actionable for phased implementation. 3. Encourage organizations to adopt a #holistic perspective in shaping their inclusion strategies.
