"The United States should adopt a 4+2 posture beginning in 2025 that consists of four U.S. brigade combat teams (BCTs) and two headquarters, in Germany and Poland. Overall, the United States should retain three permanent forward-stationed BCTs—one ABCT in Poland, one infantry brigade combat team (IBCT) in Italy, and one Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT) in Germany—and one rotational IBCT headquartered in Romania. This model should include the permanent forward-basing of two combat aviation brigades." https://lnkd.in/d8mwnKgB

Train as you fight. When the RF counter drone systems fail, you need another option. Nothing is more effective than a pissed off 19 year old trooper with an HMG. The use of target drones to train on kenitic options should now be part of all work up training.

As part of the Army's transformation initiatives, the Multi-functional Reconnaissance Company (MFRC) is a newly structured unit within 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). The MFRC will incorporate a wide array of emerging technologies and tactics to be the standard for battlefield reconnaissance. The Strike Brigade is one of the Army's first units to prototype the mobile brigade combat team (MBCT), the MBCT will be lighter and more lethal while providing increased mobility to close combat forces. Continuous transformation is the way the Army remains dominant against rapidly evolving and emerging threats in an era of rapid change in the character of war.

Man-carrying under-wing pods. The exint pod was a design for a man-carrying, under-wing pod capable of being fitted to the underwing weapons pylons on military fast-jets and military helicopters. The concept was conceived by the former Acton, London based aircraft consultancy AVPRO U.K. Ltd as a method of inserting and extracting special forces operatives. According to Flight International magazine, in the late 1990s the UK Defence Evaluation and Research Agency test fitted a prototype pod to a Bae Sea Harrier at its Boscombe Down research facility. It is not clear if the pod subsequently went into production and/or service, although some web sources cite it as being certified for use on Israeli AH-64 Apaches. #exintpod #underwingpod #weaponsbay #weapons #militaryjet #warbird #specialoperations #specialforces #specialoperators #navyseal #deltaforce #blackcats #marines #SasidharanMurugan #Itzmemsd

Assist in Streamlining Industrial Operations with High Density Storage Systems, Safety, Ergonomics, and Logistics for Improved Productivity
And one of the biggest benefits of VLM's - Inventory Control / Accuracy. ROI for these systems is often quick once you are able to tighten down your inventory accuracy. The first time someone comes to you to complain that they can't grab a part off a shelf (typically not logging that take) - it's a great start. Factor in Batch Picking - and your picks per hour sky rocket.

During military operations seeing the enemy is imperative. As 2nd Brigade Combat Team "STRIKE" pushes onto the objective following their Large-Scale Long-Range Air Assault (L2A2) we are getting a sneak peak of what "the enemy" aka 1st Brigade Combat Team "Bastogne" are doing to prepare for STRIKE'S assault onto the objective. As an opposing force, BASTOGNE is ready and waiting... OPFOR is a key element of training design. An indepently thinking OPFOR helps give the training unit a realistic training scenario so that the commander can exercise their full complement of combat power. #OLE #L2A2 #airassault #ScreamingEagles

Lithuania has already received all the ordered Vilkas infantry fighting vehicles (the Lithuanian variant of the Boxer vehicle). The last units of the Boxer (Vilkas) infantry fighting vehicles were delivered to Lithuania in December 2023. These vehicles have been allocated to two battalions that are part of the “Iron Wolf” brigade of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the ministry said in a statement. In August 2016, the Lithuanian Ministry of National Defence, through the OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation), signed a contract with ARTEC (a joint venture established by Rheinmetall and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG) worth approximately EUR 390 million for the purchase of Boxer infantry fighting vehicles. Additionally, under separate contracts, Lithuania acquired 30mm Mk 44S Bushmaster II cannon ammunition and Spike LR anti-tank guided missiles. The defence ministry stated that the total program was allocated around EUR 670 million, including spare parts, operational materials, training services, and logistical support.
