I’m a reasonable guy. I get that sometimes the kids chair breaks and you need to hike back up the mountain. But why make it worse? 🧐 Why let unwitting guests keep skiing down knowing the gong show that awaits them? 🤨 Why deny refunding my 3-year-old’s rentals knowing his day was done as soon as it started as a result of the breakdown? 🥸 Why not turn those frowns upside down, show a little empathy, and give a small credit at the lodge to nourish hungry kids and exhausted parents while we wait things out? Breakdowns happen. How you respond is all that matters. Flip side, I imagine their guest survey response rates were awesome that day! (Dad joke of the trip: “Forget Spring Break - That chair was Spring Broke!)
