https://lnkd.in/gtrXS76c In 2001, Bob Foxhoven, a visionary crew member, approached us with a bold proposal: to create the most legendary breaking event ever, sponsored by Red Bull. The notion of Red Bull, an energy drink synonymous with extreme sports, backing a breaking/hip-hop event, seemed far-fetched. Yet, it materialized in the most unforgettable manner, setting a new benchmark for breaking events worldwide. The event's success the following year raised the bar to new heights, surpassing any expectations within the breaking community. This experience was transformative for me, reshaping my career path entirely. Though I began my college journey as an engineering major, I quickly pivoted to marketing, driven by the events that unfolded. I launched and led an agency specializing in youth marketing with a focus on dance, which evolved into a 360 full-service marketing and advertising agency. Operating with over 20 full-time employees, I navigated both successes and challenges, learning valuable lessons about timing and the importance of valuing people along the way. Now, 23 years after that inaugural event in 2001, I find myself at the forefront of this project for Red Bull, the very project that altered the course of my life. I am tasked with the opportunity to reinvent and revive this legendary event in the most remarkable way possible. With the event looming on the horizon, my determination to maximize this project's success has never been stronger. I'm aiming to surpass the past, to recreate history. Let's see if we can make lightning strike twice. LFG, team! #breakingsince2001 #redbull #redbulllordsofthefloor

Through my journey so far, I was fortunate enough to work closely with colleagues on the same goals and personal growth. The disbalance between employee benefits was something I have struggled to bring to everyone in the team in the companies I've worked with. That is why I want to bring this to as many companies, with the goal of unified employee benefits across companies. #HR #HumanResources

I remove toxic silos between sales and marketing teams so you hit your sales targets. 400% sales lift in 5 years, 3x in 1 year at Series A startup. B2B SaaS. CMO. S/VP Marketing. Corporate Marketing. Demand Generation.
Friday mood. As we move into the holiday weekend, I think about all my friends and colleagues who are in transitions right now. It's a slog; it goes in fits and starts. Consistency is a challenge. And weekends suck because no one else but you is thinking about you or your situation. We feel no movement on those days. Long weekends exaggerate that feeling. It reminds me of a recent comment by one of my favorite New York Rangers players, Chris Kreider, about one of his young teammates. Kreider describes how in the playoffs you don't necessarily step up your game, but you lean on your habits - your great habits are what help you to focus and succeed at times of greater stress. So for those of us in transition - lean on your habits. They will lift you up and allow you to navigate the ups and downs. Keep on keepin' on. Check out the interview here:

Independent Marketing & Media Strategist and Advisor | Empowering startups and high growth businesses with marketing and advertising expertise and leadership to drive efficient growth
The power of partnerships -- not just for the big guys. We all remember the Barbie extravagance last summer when Mattel teamed up with almost everyone to promote the movie. And how everything Ryan Reynolds does these days seems like a 'twofer'. And the latest -- a partnership between The Instigators (AppleTV) and Dunkin' via Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. Good partnerships can make a lot of sense -- helps reach new audiences, can borrow or transfer brand equity, may open up new sales opportunities, etc. A 1+1=3 scenario. But they are not just accessible to celebrities promoting their work or big brands with big budgets. Any brand or business should include them in their toolbox. For example, I established a partnership between an e-commerce startup and a nonprofit, both of which had no or very limited marketing funds. What they did have were distinct audiences on social that allowed them to reach new people, a brick-and-mortar location that provided an additional sales channel for the e-commerce business and a fund-raising opportunity for the nonprofit. Sometimes a little out-of-the-box thinking can help overcome challenges. Maybe a partnership is just the ticket to your success.

Riding on the waves of the Detroit Lions' playoff success, it's impossible to overlook the profound impact a victorious sports team can have on a community 🏈 A single victory pumped an astounding $20 million into the local economy, a figure that rivals what a Taylor Swift concert could bring in. Now, let's pause and let that sink in for a moment... The marvel of this story isn't just about the thrill of a long-awaited victory, or the impressive economic boom. It's about demonstrating the underappreciated power sports teams wield in bolstering their communities. They're not just teams; they are catalysts for community growth and enrichment 🚀 This got me reminiscing about my journey with EOS Worldwide. Much like the Detroit Lions, we're not just a company but a catalyst. We fortify businesses, harmonize vision, traction, and team health, and most importantly, we help create legacies of leadership excellence. But it's not just about the money or the accolades. It's about the transformation, the growth, and the sense of community. In the same way that the Lions have become a beacon of hope and a source of economic upliftment for Detroit, I believe we at EOS Worldwide have the potential to enrich business communities globally 🌍 Next time you watch a sports event, remember that there's more at play than just the game. And next time you think about your business, remember that you're not just building a company – you're building a community, a legacy, and a platform for growth. #DetroitLions #Community #Growth #EOSWorldwide

Cheers to Team Triumphs! 🎉 Just reminiscing about the epic relay race we pulled off a few months back to celebrate our anniversary. It wasn't just a race; it was a reminder that we're an amazing team where everyone's got a crucial role in our mission. Like in a relay, where each baton pass is a make-or-break moment, every step in our process matters; it's the little victories that add up to something big. That race day vibe? Yeah, that's the same energy that powers our daily grind. Major shoutout to all the awesome human beings who joined in – your sprinting skills and team spirit made it a blast! 🚀 Let's take that relay mentality to work every day – passing ideas, hustling together, and crossing finish lines as a squad. Here's to more high-fives, shared wins, and rocking it together! 🏃♂️🏃♀️ #teamwork #socialentrepreneurship

Simplifying IT for Everyone - Driving the Future of Technology | Providing Creative Solutions to Complex Problems - Black Nova Technologies
So, The Game Fair didn’t work out quite how we hoped this year! A mix up meant there wasn’t space for our stand, so after a five plus hour wait, we went home… and then went to the Isle of Wight for the weekend. We’re disappointed, but we hope we’re able to go next year and see what all the fuss is about! With a bigger and better stand. When we do get to exhibit at the horse and countryside events, we get asked the same question a lot: ‘why are you here?’ It’s true that at first glance, we don’t fit in. Among stands selling wellies, tweed, rider clothing, gin, brownies and coats, there’s an IT company! We are different and we do stand out but that’s ok – but that’s kind of the point! The team and I know that our services can help everyone and that there are real humans behind the website and social media accounts, and events are our way of demonstrating that to the public. Business is about standing out, being different to your competitors and I always said Black Nova would do things differently and we do. Whether that’s being an IT company that actually answers the phone and offers speedy response times or being at an event with the trade stand. #itsupport #peoplebehindthebrand #tradestand
