In case you missed it at Seawork let’s tour the Marine Specialised Technology Group HPB-1500 Police Patrol Craft. Powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 600 hp diesel engines matched to dual MJP 350X waterjets, this vessel was built with state-of-the-art features to keep its crew safe. During search and rescue missions the Captain controls the vessel's precise movements with his integrated armrest controls, knowing his divers are much safer without exposed spinning propellers in the water. Introducing the new military-grade, Fast Interception Craft (FIC) Range. The organisation has already secured orders for the new range with a European Military User and the first-of-two FIC-1700 craft has been successfully delivered to the customer, who is undergoing end-user familiarisation training aboard the vessel before it is deployed into service.
