Every organisation is only as good as its team of people … or people and dogs! Meet Team People Choreographer®️ Clifford is Head of Security🪪. He is a 9 year old Chihuahua and the love of my life. He’s generally quite miserable, doesn’t like the rain 🌧️or many people which is not always ideal in this organisation … but I’m all up for diversity and everyone brings something. Although known to my friends as not being the happiest of dogs, he is an absolute empath, won’t leave my side if I’m not feeling great, and likes to give licks of support to anyone who gets upset in his company💗🥰. He is also a fantastic Head of Security and the fact that my doorbell doesn’t work is irrelevant. With Clifford on patrol, I always know when there’s someone at the front door. Frankie is Head of Happiness🤗. She is a 6 year old rescue dog who I would guess is a chihuahua/terrier mix. She is so opposite to Clifford, my little ray of sunshine☀️. Frankie LOVES people and thinks that everyone wants to meet her. She is a great lap dog, who rarely leaves my side and is always so pleased to see me. She makes me smile and that is why her Head of Happiness role is so well deserved😍🥰. I will admit that their IT skills could do with some work, and they are not necessarily my first point of call when needing advice with developing a new strategy or initiative. But both bring their individual skills and attributes to the team and have a very important place within it😉 #TeamWork #OfficeDogs #DiverseTeam

We recently enjoyed a simple and emotionally bright activity that perfectly blends personal and professional lives: "Fun Pictures from Childhood". 🤔 Here's how it works: 1. Each team member shares a childhood photo representing a happy memory. 2. During an online meeting, guess who's in each picture and match them with present-day colleagues. 3. Share the story behind the happy memory. Be prepared to smile, laugh and connect to your team on a different level, uncovering some unexpected stories from the past. 📸We illustrate this post with childhood pictures of some of our team members : from mischievous to funny and serious expressions, these snapshots from the past are bound to bring smiles and warmth.

We are fortunate to have her as part of the team!” Nominated by: Brad Babcock, HR Director Favorite thing about working at Croell: Being part of a GREAT team that is continuously growing and changing which brings daily challenges and learning experiences and affords me opportunities to meet and work with new people. Most interesting project: I can't pinpoint just one project . . . not one day is the same, I improvise, juggle, react, progress, connect, refresh, reboot, and at the end of the day, I always leave room for laughter, peace, and imagination so I consider it a successful day (aka interesting project). What advice would you give to someone who might want to join Croell: Bring a can-do attitude, own the position (and your mistakes . . . we all make them), challenge the processes, and consistently brainstorm/implement improvements. Hobbies include: Spending time with my spouse, kids, grandkids and friends, designing/creating family gifts/heirlooms unique to each personality (quilting, embroidery, woodworking, etc.), and camping. One thing people probably don’t know about me: I've flown in an open cockpit bi-plane, complete with barrel rolls and a stalled nosedive. It was an AMAZING experience and I'd do it all over again! Bucket list: I would LOVE to jump out of an airplane. And yes, a working parachute is an integral prerequisite before I jump.

I’m a big believer in the importance of team building and getting out of the office to connect. After all, the team you work with is who you spend the majority of your time with. Recently, we had an awesome golf outing, and it reminded me just how important these kinds of activities are for our team’s bond and overall company success. Here’s why getting out of the office or doing some sort of team-building activities is important: 🟢Better Collaboration: It encourages open communication and stronger teamwork. 🟢Boosted Morale: A fun day out can really lift team spirit and job satisfaction. 🟢Stronger Connections: Building personal relationships helps create a supportive work environment. 🟢New Ideas: Fresh experiences can spark creativity, even out on the golf course. No matter what industry you're in, this is so important. All of these things aside, I always love the time I get to spend with the TC team. We have an exceptional group of people who are not just coworkers but friends.

Always work in a good atmosphere with professionals. It is important for the morale of the team and what your working atmosphere is ?

Team Player Yesterday I went into the local high street. I joined a few people waiting at the pelican crossing to cross the busy road (obviously). After a few minutes, I realised that it was taking “longer than expected”. It became evident that no one had pressed the button! The people joining the waiting queue of people had likely assumed that the first person had pressed the button. 🚦🛑 So I walked round, pressed the button, hey presto the green man was flashing and about 15 people were able to cross the road. 👈 🚦 It wasn’t tricky. It just involved being curious about why something wasn’t working as expected then taking responsibility to take action. 🧐 This simple act actually helped approximately 14 other people. 👫 So the next time you take action when you can’t be bothered or feel that it’s not your responsibility, remember that it could be helping your team, the elderly or people who need a break. Be a team player by leading the action. Share a story of when a simple act helped others. Even your story could put a smile on someone’s face. #team #action #teamplayer #leader

If you're the top dog, don't ask your team: What do you need me to do? Ask your team: What do you need from me to execute? Ask who before how. Who is going to do the work? Who is going to take ownership and be accountable? Your job is to delegate and figure out how best to support your team. And then get out of the way so they can get it done.
