Prime Narendra Modi Modi’s recent visit to Brunei marks a strategic milestone in India's Indo-Pacific outreach, underscoring the nation’s commitment to ensuring a free and open region. Brunei, despite being a small nation, occupies a critical geographic position along the South China Sea—a key area of global interest due to its abundant natural resources and vital maritime routes. As tensions rise in the South China Sea, primarily due to China's assertive territorial claims, Brunei’s strategic importance has grown, making India's engagement more significant. India's Indo-Pacific policy under PM Modi has gained traction, with the country playing a crucial role in maintaining regional peace, stability, and the freedom of navigation. PM Modi's visit to Brunei signals deeper strategic alignment, particularly as Brunei seeks to diversify its partnerships amidst growing Chinese influence. India’s democratic values, non-interference stance, and support for a rules-based international order resonate with Brunei's approach to regional diplomacy. India and Brunei have shared strong bilateral relations, especially in energy trade, cultural exchange, and now, an increasing focus on defence cooperation. As Brunei faces mounting pressures in the South China Sea, enhanced military ties with India could provide a crucial counterbalance. India’s growing naval presence in the Indo-Pacific, and its emphasis on maritime security, positions it as an indispensable partner for Brunei in safeguarding its territorial integrity. PM Modi’s visit highlights not just the significance of bilateral relations but also the broader regional context, where Brunei could play a key role in shaping Indo-Pacific politics. With India’s support, Brunei has the potential to advocate for peaceful resolutions in territorial disputes and contribute to ensuring a secure, open Indo-Pacific region for all stakeholders. #vikshitbharat #narendramodi #bjp #geopolitics #bharat

*After decades of neglect, India builds roads along China border* * For more than five decades, India ignored the roads along its 4,056 kilometer-long (2520 mile) disputed border with China. * *The logic was simple:* the South Asian nation didn’t want to give Chinese troops an easy path if Beijing ever tried to repeat the brief 1962 border war and encroach into the territory India sees as its own. * Prime Minister Narendra Modi is trying to change all that. *The projects are aimed at asserting India’s dominance in a region where China has already made significant inroads.*

BIG DIPLOMATIC WIN FOR BHARAT! In a significant move, the Maldives has officially handed over 28 islands to Bharat for the development of water and sewerage projects. This is a massive setback for China, with whom the Maldives had previously signed agreements. The deal signifies a strategic win for Bharat, as control over essential resources like drinking water can be as crucial as military influence. President Muizzu has already inked the agreement with External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar Ji and expressed gratitude to PM Narendra Modi for the consistent support provided by Bharat. This development is a solid reminder of Bharat's diplomatic prowess and its capacity to forge strong relationships through compassion and cooperation rather than aggression. It's a clear message to those who doubted the capability of the Modi Sarkar in managing international affairs. As Bharat strengthens its position in the region, the Modi Sarkar continues to demonstrate that diplomacy is its strongest suit, with lasting impacts not just in the Maldives but across the entire region. #Diplomacy #India #Maldives #ModiSarkar #StrategicWin

India recognizes most countries worldwide, but there are a few notable exceptions where India has not extended diplomatic recognition. Here are countries that India does not officially recognize: 1. Taiwan (Republic of China) – India does not have official diplomatic relations with Taiwan, recognizing the People's Republic of China (PRC) under its One-China policy. However, India maintains informal trade and cultural ties with Taiwan. 2. Kosovo – India does not recognize Kosovo as an independent country, largely due to its stance on territorial integrity and concerns over setting precedents for separatist movements. These are the main examples of countries not recognized by India. Most other internationally recognized countries have formal diplomatic relations with India.
