I just went through a game-changing report from HockeyStack, and the findings are eye-opening. 🤯 In 2024, it takes 266 touchpoints on average to close a B2B deal—a 19.8% jump from last year! Here’s what really stood out: 📌 71 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐐𝐋 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 - a 31% increase from last year. 📌 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 - closing deals over $100K requires 2.65x more touchpoints than deals under $10K. 📌 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, even with strong brand recognition. 📌 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝𝐈𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐬? You’ll need 23% more impressions just to get that first website visit. 📌 𝐒𝐐𝐋 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝-𝐰𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 99 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 on average. The real challenge begins here.
