3moWhile potentially true for batteries, the costs for lithium mines have been rising dramatically and without a significant price increase on lithium many won't get sanctioned. The bigger concern will be copper for transmission lines, for which massive investment is needed to support expansive growth in electricity demand and increased renewables penetration. Copper mining will not peak in a decade. It will struggle to grow to meet demand in 10 years
