📌 Train wheel slipping occurs when the wheels of a train lose traction with the rails. ℹ️ It can be attributed to various factors, including adverse weather conditions like rain, snow, ice, or fallen leaves, which diminish traction. ✅ Solutions to prevent train wheel slipping includes the implementation of traction control systems that adjust power distribution and braking, routine maintenance of both wheels and tracks, as well as the use of sanding systems on certain trains that distribute sand onto the rails. 📣 This kind of problem can be detected with DELTA SPEED function. 🤔 This kind of phenomena due to wheel slipping ⛈ ❄ , is not generating over acceleration of the wheel, commonly used to detect a slipping case. 😯 This phenomena is generating an acceleration which is not over the admitted limits but the train is not moving. 💡 DELTA SPEED will allow to compare the local axle speed with the real train speed. In that way a train slipping can be detected and corrected in order to recover the right adherence.
