OPEN DEFECATION The act, not art of defecating outside a toilet(in a gutter, or roadside). Walking down a street, and my eyes are harassed with different sizes and forms of it 😔 With the presence of public toilets, and still one decides to make his/her faeces go public. What be the reason, and is there an end to this? Imagine faeces washed by the rain, into our water sources; that well, that stream, that broken water pipe, yet to be replaced. The outcome- Water borne diseases (Amoebiasis, Dysentery, Cholera, Hepatitis A, Thyphoid etc) just a few to mention. Call it free manure, but I call it a health hazard that should be addressed. An example is the Cholera outbreaks, breaking victims apart. #Noopendefecation #Environmentalhealth
