Interesting article. A lot of the way a company's culture evolves, I feel can be traced back to these concepts. https://lnkd.in/eahgfcU3

In today's dynamic work landscape, a phenomenal culture isn't just a bonus—it's a strategic necessity. It's about fostering an environment where every team member feels valued, empowered, and motivated to bring their best selves to work every day. I was able to spend the last few days with our company’s national leadership. And I believe that the over arching theme for the week was based on a few key components. 1. **Transparency and Communication**: Open, honest communication lays the foundation for trust and collaboration. Encouraging feedback and ensuring everyone's voice is heard cultivates a culture of inclusivity and continuous improvement. 2. **Embracing Diversity**: Diversity isn't just a buzzword—it's a catalyst for innovation and growth. Embracing diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences enriches our collective understanding and propels us forward. 3. **Empowerment and Development**: Providing opportunities for growth and development empowers individuals to reach their full potential. Investing in training, mentorship programs, and career advancement initiatives not only benefits employees but also strengthens the organization as a whole. 4. **Recognition and Appreciation**: Recognizing and celebrating achievements, big and small, reinforces a positive work culture. Whether it's a simple "thank you" or a formal recognition program, acknowledging contributions fosters a sense of belonging and motivates teams to excel. I’m honored to be a part of an organization that not only embraces these “ingredients”, but thrives on the idea of creating the absolute best work environment and experience possible. While never settling on where we are, but rather consistently identifying ways we can be better. #Nocompromise #QCG

Culture is NOT a People Team’s responsibility. It is EVERYBODY’S! Everyone (even the most junior staff) in the company must live out, uplift, align, adhere and even protect the culture codes when it comes under threat. It takes a village to build a great place to work. So anyone and everyone should stop holding only the People’s team accountable for effecting change. #UPwithJerviel #culturechange #teamculture #humanresourceshr

According to MentorcliQ, mentoring has reached nearly 100% adoption among U.S. Fortune 500 companies, a testament to its impact on company culture, employee development, and employee retention. Mentorship should be accessible to everyone as a vital component of a strong workplace diversity program. A Cornell University study found it can boost minority representation at management levels by up to 24%. Mentors benefit, too. Forbes reports they're 6x more likely to get promoted. Have you witnessed the benefits of mentorship firsthand? Share your story in the comments below. 👇👇👇

Yesterday, I ran another culture session for our new starters. We had some insightful discussions about culture, what good looks and doesn't look like and discussed what some of the impacts could be. We talked about behaviour and how this is key to creating a culture that thrives. Some commitments that were shared include: We work together Recognise the different needs and perspectives of all colleagues and departments, particularly when improving or implementing processes. We are real and true Make the effort to celebrate colleagues’ wins and not just focus on my own individual learning and achievement. We are curious Strive to see the positive in mistakes and take the learning from them. #culturematters
