Provider Spotlight! Matrix Providers carries on the military tradition of presenting a Challenge Coin to those who go above and beyond, handed out by our CEO Dr. Bill Rivard. Dr. Jim Adams, a traumatic brain injury evaluator, went above and beyond by figuring out an alternative plan when he couldn't get into the clinic. Knowing the veteran had traveled a long way for his appointment, Dr. Adams used his resources to complete the evaluation outside- and says he made a new friend along the way. Thank you, Dr. Adams, for your commitment to the Matrix Providers mission!

During the Month of the Military Child, let’s think about how to discuss TBI with kids. Q: How can I talk to my 8- to 11-year-old child about their parent's #TBI? A: Find movies with storylines similar to what your family is experiencing. Talk about their thoughts and opinions while encouraging them to ask questions. Be truthful and factual when answering.
