This month, we come together to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, with both our colleagues and our customers. We want to recognise the progress made, and acknowledge the work that still lies ahead of us. Pride is more than just a celebration; it's a powerful reminder of the resilience, courage, and strength of the LGBTQIA+ community. It's a time to honour those who have fought for equality and to stand in solidarity with those who continue to face discrimination and injustice. As allies, we all have a responsibility to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Here are a few ways we can demonstrate our support: Educate Ourselves: Take the time to learn about the history, struggles, and achievements of the LGBTQIA+ community. Understanding the challenges people face is the first step in being a supportive ally. Speak Up: Use our voice to challenge discrimination and prejudice whenever we see it. Silence can be interpreted as complicity, so it's important to stand up against hate and intolerance. Support LGBTQIA+ Initiatives: Whether it's through donations, volunteering, or participating in events, supporting organisations that advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, such as our very own Flying Proud network, can make a significant impact. Create Inclusive Spaces: Ensure our work and learning spaces, our community, and our social circles are welcoming to everyone. This includes using inclusive language, respecting pronouns, and being mindful of diverse experiences. Listen and Amplify: Listen to the stories and experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals and amplify their voices. Their perspectives are invaluable in creating a more understanding and inclusive society. We believe allyship is not a one-time act but a continuous commitment to equality and justice. As Pride Month comes to a close, we reflect on the importance of inclusivity and solidarity.🌈✨ At Ringer Sciences, we stand with the LGBTQ+ community in celebrating diversity, equality, and love. This month, we dove deeper into the #CorporatePride conversation, from how the Fortune 100 marked the occasion, with 47% of companies participating, to social media discussions of brand involvement in Pride Month celebrations. From logo changes to charitable initiatives, brands showed their support in various impactful ways. Concurrently, consumer discussions highlighted the significance of brand involvement in Pride Month celebrations, focusing on the authenticity of support, the impact of donations, and community engagement. Diversity means a lot when it touches you personally. It doesn't strictly mean that you need to be one to know one... Without entering into personal details, I have seen many individuals reaching out their true potential and being fully recognised once they felt welcomed and accepted. Diversity is about creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued for who they are, regardless of their background, identity, or experiences. When people feel safe and supported, they are more likely to reach their full potential and contribute to their communities in meaningful ways.

JND Legal Administration, support that is superficial is getting called out these days. Supporting the LGBTQ+ community requires more than making a post and supporting gay white men… you’ve still got to work on eliminating racism and sexism in your workplace before you can be any kind of positive ally. Yes, I know Jennifer Keough and Neil Zola (who has either removed his profile, or is a sexist and racist coward who blocked me) don’t care. However, Jen seems to care about her social media image and Neil seems to care about liability. A push on both could help towards change. Holding yourself to the standards of Seattle would help your social media image, reduce liability, and if done correctly, would increase both morale and productivity.
