𝐀𝐈 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. Right before 2024, we had our annual company outing. At AI Heroes it’s a time for learning, fun, and strengthening our team bonds. This time, we headed to Friesland (Rijs) to celebrate another great year at AI Heroes. This trip showed us that we're not just Heroes at work, but also a powerful team outside the office: 🤝 We held an engaging all-hands meeting with nearly everyone in the company. We delved into exciting new projects and gained empowering insights about where we are headed. A shared enthusiasm for the future was a common theme that could be felt throughout as we united. 🗨 A standout was our Effective Communication workshop. Everyone excelled, breaking barriers and bonding as a team – truly embodying heroism. The workshop went beyond teaching communication skills; it helped us understand each other better. After the intense sessions, we relaxed and enjoyed the evening. Our personal highlight was the 'Gotcha!' challenge, with Vincent Evers coming out as the lucky winner. This year's outing was thrilling and adventurous, offering a perfect team-building experience. We're excited to bring this positive energy into our work. Rahaf is super engaging at communicating a story with academic rigour. “AI is going to supercharge deep expertise, but collapse weak knowledge systems”   📌Cultural shift: Technology is the manifestation of belief systems ~ every piece of new technology that exists today is driven by what people think the world should be. 📌Tech & Culture: Emphasized the cultural impact of emerging technologies, not just their business functions. 📌Automotive Creativity: We’re in an era of mass production of knowledge and ideas, redefining human creative labour. 📌AI Collaboration: Shift from search culture to generative culture, focusing on critical thinking to question AI outputs. 📌Building Expertise: Importance of intentional expertise and critical thinking in the AI-driven future. This has ramifications for the future workplace. 📌Future focus: Human-centered AI future. Active role of consumers and citizens in shaping outcomes and mitigating bias and negative outcomes. 📌Talent Evolution: Continuous learning is crucial. Referencing Lenovo & IBM’s talent campuses – growth mindset is key. Exciting event! 🌟 Aligned almost perfectly with my thoughts on the landscape of L&D in 2023, big thanks to a fantastic team of Organisers and Speakers! Here's a summary of key takeaways + some of my reflections for 2023&2024: Key Trends of 2023: - Learning in the flow of work (Lifow)  - Microlearning  - AI (...impossible not to mention it, right?)  *A particularly intriguing idea was the incorporation of AI-generated video speakers for comedic relief during the learning process. It has sparked my interest, and I'm considering implementing it in my own initiatives. 🚀 Forecast for 2024: - AI continues to play a pivotal role and thrives  - Increased emphasis on metrics for better evaluation  - Growing focus on in-house training programs  Cautions to bear in mind: - Upholding confidentiality in all aspects of L&D/AI - Prioritizing localization to ensure inclusivity  Eagerly anticipating the next L&D Happy Space and looking forward to uncovering what 2024 has in store for us! #LearningAndDevelopment #FutureOfWork #LifelongLearning
