Yesterday was Youth Homelessness Matters Day. 38,000 young people aged 15–24 years presented alone to a homelessness service in 2022–23, over one third experienced domestic and family violence. In 2023, 108,000 people were unable to be assisted because of shortages of staff, accommodation or other services.
