In this age of #ValueVaporization, it's not so surprising to see dramatic declines in value. In this instance, the senior secured mortgage debt was sold for a 25% haircut. What's new (to me) and more interesting at the moment (to me) is that the special servicer imposed a $164 million holdback on the distribution of proceeds to investors! That's a meaningful and painful holdback.
