International Women’s Day is today and this year’s theme is Inspire Inclusion. Here is the Founder of The Equality Institute discussing the deleterious impact of patriarchy embedded in our systems, culture and institutions. Patriarchy is a rigid barrier to inclusion and without understanding and owning our unwitting biases and ties to patriarchal thinking, addressing gender equality and other harmful domineering ideologies will be difficult.
