Back again with another Travel Pendleton recommendation! 23+ The name 23+ is a reference back to the owner, Joe's, rodeo days. Traditionally, bullriding is judged by two judges. Each judge marks the rider 1-25 on how well he rides and the bull 1-25 on how well he bucks, for a total out of 100 points. Any score over 90 is considered to be an excellent ride. If you were to score 23 on a 23-point bull you would be 92 points. Since retiring from bull riding, Joe has made the effort that it takes to reach that mark of excellence in bull riding and put into leatherwork. The storefront is located across from the Pendleton Round-Up grounds, next to the Pendleton Round-Up & Happy Canyon Hall of Fame. During the roundup, you can find him and other makers in his Chute Gate Marketplace.
