#safetytuesday : Wildlife and Human Interaction Safety. Working in the mining industry often brings us close to wildlife habitats. It's essential to ensure the safety of both our team and the local wildlife. Here are some crucial tips for safe interactions with wildlife: Wildlife Interaction Safety Encountering wildlife can be dangerous if not handled properly. Follow these guidelines to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for everyone: Stay Informed Educate yourself about the local wildlife species in your area. Know which animals are commonly found near your work site and understand their behaviors. Report Sightings If you spot potentially dangerous wildlife near the worksite, report it immediately to the designated safety officer or wildlife management team. Avoid Nesting Areas Steer clear of known nesting or denning areas. Disturbing these areas can provoke animals and lead to dangerous encounters. Tip of the Week: Remember, respecting wildlife helps ensure the safety of both humans and animals. Let’s stay vigilant and keep our workplace safe for everyone. #MedupiMiningService #ZEROHARM #safetytuesday
