"I've got my life back." Dianne's life changed when she received her Inceptiv™ SCS implant. After finding relief from chronic back pain she says, "I feel10 years younger". Hear her story and learn how Inceptiv™ SCS can help patients enjoy greater freedom with consistent therapy that is automatic, responsive, and seamless. In a recent study, 9 out of 10 patients preferred using the Inceptiv™ closed-loop algorithm over fixed-output stimulation.(1) Inceptiv™ SCS is the most advanced spinal cord stimulation (SCS) system with closed-loop technology bringing patients pain relief that's in tune with their lives. More consistent therapy = more time for life. Go to Medtronic.com/Inceptiv to learn more. Exciting news today as Biosense Webster receives European CE mark approval for our VARIPULSE™ Platform, marking a significant step forward in treating cardiac arrhythmia with pulsed field ablation (PFA) technology. With estimates suggesting that by 2050, Europe will have the greatest increase in Atrial Fibrillation compared to other regions globally, this milestone not only signifies our commitment to innovation in cardiac care but also positions us here in Europe at the forefront of solving some of the most pressing challenges in cardiac care. Our focus now is working alongside physicians and healthcare providers, together with our leading clinical teams throughout the region to bring this technology to all those patients who can benefit. https://lnkd.in/edYARrJz #myCompany #CardiacCare #JNJMedTechProud #VARIPULSE #PulsedFieldAblation

Do you want to take a chance that your patient may lose MR eligibility due to impedance conditions? A recent study showed that is what happened with 43% of non-Medtronic SureScan™ SCS patients† at five years post-implant.(1) With Medtronic SureScan™ systems, 100% of SCS patients have MR access regardless of impedance.‡ Stop by our booth or join us for our lunch symposium where industry leaders, Drs. Chris Beuer, Krishnan Chakravarthy, Samir Sheth, Ricardo Vallejo, and Thomas White, will review the broad comprehensive pain product portfolio, unmatched MRI access§, and discuss clinical outcomes. #MDTPainInterventions #SCS #NANS2024 #NANS24 #MRI #PatientsFirst †Abbott, Boston Scientific, and Nevro ‡ Assuming all other conditions are met § Under specific conditions. A new era in SCS technology is here! Congratulations to the physicians who performed the first commercial implants of the Inceptiv™ spinal cord stimulator with closed-loop technology. Dr. Georgios Matis from Uniklinik Köln, Germany; Dr. Dirk Rasche from Universitätsklinikum Schleswig-Holstein, Germany; Prof. Paul Murphy from St Vincent's Private Hospital, Ireland; Dr. Iris Smet and team from Vitaz Hospital, Belgium; Dr. Ashish Gulve from South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, UK. This is a big milestone as we celebrate the use of the most advanced SCS system with a closed-loop feature that senses each person’s unique biological signals and adjusts stimulation moment to moment, as needed, to keep therapy in harmony with the motions of daily life†. Inceptiv™ is only approved in the EU and Japan. †Sensing signals may not be measurable in all cases. #neuromodulation #MedtronicPainInterventions #MedtronicSCS #Inceptiv #closedloopSCS https://bit.ly/3Sm2w5l

Year-End Review Post #4: Speaking at LSI Barcelona 2023 Honored to have been a part of LSI Barcelona 2023 in September 2023! It was exciting to share insights and our newly generated knowledge about single-shot-short-duration heart ablation as a speaker at this esteemed event. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the dialogue on Pulmonary Vein Isolation as first line therapy for atrial fibrillation (AFib), the leading cause for stroke. Today less than 5% of global patients suffering from atrial fibrillation are treated with heart ablations, the recommended first line therapy to treat atrial fibrillation. Let´s work together to make this essential treatment available to the 95% in need globally. This is a unique humanitarian and commercial chance and millions of patients and a multi-billion dollar market are ahead of us. Outstanding discussions and networking opportunity to exchange thoughts and connect with industry leaders. #AQUAHeart #LSIEurope23 #Speaker #IndustryInsights #afib #pvi #cardiovascular #venturecapital #medicaldevices #stroke #strokeprevention #heartablation

How are new products changing the way we treat glaucoma patients? Please see attached the link to the recording of the interventional glaucoma symposium hosted at the APAO 2024 in Bali earlier this year. Presenter Prof. Shamira Perera (Singapore) explores this question with Prof. Michell Lawlor (Australia), Prof. Tina Wong (Singapore), Dr. Colin Clement (AU), Dr. Leonard Yip (SG), Dr. Robert Ang (PH) and Dr. Bryan Ang (SG) at the APAO 2024 Glaukos Dinner Symposium. The experts dive deep into the proactive approach to interventional glaucoma, focusing on early diagnostics and intervention, along with patient noncompliance with treatment, slow-release medication devices, SLT as the first line of treatment and more. https://lnkd.in/gVPRbm_h Great discussions amongst some of the biggest names in glaucoma in our region.
