Hadley is beyond excited to partner and go far together with Robert Bell Wilkins & his portfolio companies to expand education and career training opportunities for all, making it super simple to open the right 529 & link it to the Hadley app so anyone can send money to it like Venmo, including family, friends, brands, and employers. I named my startup after my family, and I built Hadley to give all families the same info and tools I give my own to save for our future. The butterfly wings represent my grandmother, who I miss every single day. It makes me so proud Hadley now carries both of our family's legacy, empowering all families to create theirs. Help spread the word and open a 529 account for free using Hadley. Money in a 529 grows tax-free and can be reassigned to future family members (and doesn't count towards the estate tax), so start creating your family education + career training + retirement nest egg today!

👼 On my father’s recent angel-versary (Jan 7), I was thrilled to finish my first solo angel investment round! Inspired by NYU Stern School of Business' Pick Six activity and the classes of Professor Suzy Welch, I invested $225k into 6 unique startups with 1 unifying theme: expanding educational opportunities and improving learner outcomes. 6️⃣ Facts about the Fall/Winter round: 🌏 Company locations: New York (5) and California (1) 🌱 Company stages: Pre-seed/seed (5), Series A (1) 🤝 Deal team: Jerry Lowe, CFP®, Charles Wellborn, and Marilyn M. 🚄 Average deal speed: 6 weeks (3 due diligence interviews) 🔎 Deal sources: StartOut (5), Stanford University (1) 💜 Founder diversity: 2 LGBTQ+, 2 female, 1 of color, 5 ages 35+ ✨ Every single day I miss teaching, and every single day I miss my dad. Investing in our shared passion for education helps me feel connected to both, which has been the singular highlight of this experience. I’m so excited to partner with these companies and scout for a Spring/Summer round during my final semester in the NYU Stern Full-time MBA!
