Here are some standout PR initiatives that have caught my eye in recent weeks: 1. VIEVE House in Edinburgh: Transporting Beauty Directors and macro influencers to a picturesque Scottish estate, Vieve curated an unforgettable experience. Founder Jamie Genevieve led a makeup masterclass against a scenic county backdrop, resulting in a cascade of social media posts, some taking note of the Saltburn trend. It didn’t escape attention that the goody bag aligned with the trip and inclusively catered to all guest cc BLANKET. 2. Benefit Cosmetics Motel: what I loved about this trip was the touchpoints that went beyond and didn’t neglect their beloved bestselling ranges. I wrote this op-ed piece for Adweek back at the end of 2021. On the heels of the pandemic, the world was very cautious of health in one form or another. I wrote about how imperative it was for EVERY brand to move like a wellness brand. Meaning, talk often about how your offering benefits people. Fast forward almost two years, I'm not sure as many people are as concerned about wellness, BUT I'm dying on the hill that wellness should be the way you approach this marketing thing. Why? Your target audience always wants to know "what's in it for me?", "how will this make me better?", "how will this make me feel?", "why do I NEED what you're offering?"
