I don't know where else to put this, I've sent in multiple app's into my local Meijer trying to get my job back, (3rd shift stocking) and got ghosted each time. I worked there for a week and lost it due to a migraine and my mother, during that migraine I didn't know who to call, and after my mother told me i was probably fired even though i was still in the scheduling app so she wouldn't take me cause she "didn't wanna waste the gas" only to be turned away. The time i worked there was amazing and with ADHD doing overnight stocking was perfect for me.
This is awesome. Congratulations! 👏
Congratulations on doing the work to earn a top score on the Disability Equality Index and be recognized as a #BestPlaceToWork for #DisabilityInclusion! #AreYouIN?

2moMy daughter, who is disabled, tried to commit suicide a few times. Was put in hospitals to try and get her help. I was threatened by my boss at the fremont Meijer, the way I was treated was horrific. This was a known fact by not only my boss. But others as well as to how she treated people. I was pushed out of the company, after being there for years as a Team Leader, due to taking some time off that I paid for, to help my daughter and myself. I absolutely would not say Meijer is good for a person with disabilities or a parent of a child with a disability. It's a shame, they have lost good team members, good team leaders. My boss is known as the store bully, literally, and is allowed to continue the behavior. It's sad, actually.
