Happy International Women’s Day 2024!    Whether it’s by developing our future female leaders, screening recruitment adverts for gender bias, or supporting flexible working, we can all work to ensure everyone feels included.   In the last year, we’ve improved several of our internal policies to better support women in our workplace. We now have consistent policies for maternity and adoption across the globe and colleagues receive paid time off after a miscarriage. We also now have equality, diversity and inclusion groups, creating a platform for everyone to have a voice and shape the business in an inclusive way.   Making a commitment to inspiring inclusion is critical for our business. By making everyone feel included, we’re able to recruit, retain and develop the best talent. Doing this brings many benefits, with different viewpoints helping us to better support clients.   Society still has some way to go to make women feel included in every aspect of life. However, we’re determined to do our part and encourage more women to build careers in our industry.   I’ve recently submitted my official IWD statement alongside other executive leaders. Accelerate Progress". This is the message I will be amplifying.

It was really wonderful to see the many initiatives, events and encouraging posts last week around International Women's Day. As I reflect on these impactful conversations and celebrations, I think being action-bias is important i.e. let's carry forward the spirit of #empowerment and #change beyond just a week of spotlight on championing for women. While we go about our daily grind, let's be more intentional about taking steps to create a more inclusive and equitable future for all. #InspiringInclusion Each one of us has the power to ignite change. Sharing here 2 actions that I would like to do more of. 👩🏫 Knowledge-sharing and Networking: Offer networking opportunities to women in our network. The next time you're going to an event, think of inviting 1 female colleague/friend along. Make time to share knowledge and experience, and help others build valuable connections that can advance their careers or personal goals. 📢 Refer Business Opportunities: Actively seek out and refer business opportunities to women in our network. Whether it's recommending them for a project, referring clients, or connecting them with potential partners, this type of support is always invaluable and can help women feel more included. If you've got actions that you're planning to take too, let's hear them so we can all be inspired and learn from one another. 💡
