⭐Strategy Spotlight⭐
This week, we’re highlighting how identifying common goals and finding shared identities can boost social connection! Initiatives promoting the creation of a shared group identity have been shown to increase levels of social connectedness and reduce feelings of loneliness. A community example of this can be found in programming by The People’s Supper. The People's Supper believes that meaningful conversations over shared meals can heal divisions and build understanding among people from diverse backgrounds by facilitating dialogue between people from different perspectives, backgrounds, and communities. Through their work, they hope to create spaces where individuals can come together, share their stories, and find common ground, ultimately contributing to a more united and compassionate society.
