Considering your level of corporate decarobnization maturity and that of your customers and suppliers is key when developing a strategy and program. You may be a leader in your industry sector based on your internal operational performance, but to achieve meaningful transformation you might have to bring on board key, less mature suppliers, e.g. if your Scope 3 emissions are larger than your direct emissions, and / or if they face higher business contintuity risks from Climate Change risks than you do. Or your key customers may be engaging you as a supplier as part of their decarbonization efforts, requesting you to take your ambition to the next level. Either way, at ENGIE Impact we have the privilege of working with companies across industry sectors at all levels of maturity, and we always meet them right where they are in response to their circumstances - because in the end it is the only way to ensure a #greentransition and a #lowcarbonfuture across complex global value chains. #decarbonization #sustainability #climateaction #climateresilience #businesscontinuity #businesstransformation #sustainabilitytransformation
