Thanks very much for your kind words Tanishka Sawant It is an honour and a privilege to lead a company and work with amazing people. I was blessed to work with some wonderful and different styled bosses -- one common thread was their 110% trust. They set me a task and let me decide the "how" ..... I try to treat my team the way my lovely bosses treated me ! Investing is ALL about having diverse views ♀ Women think differently to men, we need them both ⚫ Black think differently to whites, we need them both and so on..... The best decisions are made when ALL views are heard. As a team, we must keep alive our diverse perspectives, curiosity, and passion for continuous learning. As I have always said : 1. Nobody works FOR me 2. Everyone works WITH me .... I think there is a difference between 1 and 2. EVERYONE AT STERLING MUST NOT LIKE THEIR WORK..... THEY MUST LOVE IT. LIKE is not enough, it is too weak for me In a competitive world, anything less than 💓 won't do. In closing, # Keep up the great work; do not flatten your learning curve # Never stop your attitude of always responding with a "yes" Let us grow Sterling Investment Management to its deserved heights, so everyone prospers. Thanks once again. 🙏

I cannot believe how quickly 2 years have flown by and thought I should reflect on my journey.   The firm’s culture is something you read in books. There is openness and non-stop learning. Irrespective of background, there is mutual respect and every contribution is followed with frank feedback, for future improvement.   Our Founder Melwin Mehta keeps telling us a thousand times: “There is no stupid question” and is always pushing us to be curious and be a sponge. It would not be wrong to say, everyone at Sterling Investment Management sleeps smarter than they woke up. The leadership is always asking us “What do we want to do” and it is no surprise that everyone loves to work – a rare feeling in today’s world.   The firm believes everyone deserves a chance and takes on interns from diverse backgrounds. Some of our Zoom calls have participants from South Africa and even Malaysia and it feels like I am working with a global company.   Truly, Sterling is more than a workplace; it's a crucible of ideas, a place where horizons expand. I'm filled with gratitude for the enriching experience this has been and I look forward to building my career in the years to come.
