Premium Buyers in Europe: Key to the Future of #EVs? 🚗🔋 A new BCG study reveals that nearly 40% of European premium and luxury car buyers plan to purchase their first electric vehicle (EV) in the next 12 months—if their high expectations are met. This group, mainly consisting of Millennials and Gen Z, values technology and sustainability. 🌍⚡ However, hurdles remain. Buyers cite charging infrastructure, range, and battery lifespan as key concerns. Nearly half see long charging times and a lack of fast chargers as major issues. They also expect a driving range of at least 500 km per charge, significantly more than other segments. For automakers, this presents a major opportunity. Beyond meeting tech demands, brands need to deliver an exceptional overall experience, incorporating luxury, craftsmanship, and innovation. Those who succeed could set the standard in Europe and beyond. 👉 Read the full BCG report: https://lnkd.in/eqi-d_QP #EV #Sustainability #FutureMobility #BCG

Roboticist AI, Machine Intelligence enabling New Product Development into Manufacturing & Supply-Chain Operations
60,000 recharging points by 2030 has no meaning to a typical Singaporean family that lives within HDB apartment with multi-storey car parks. Anyone will want to know how many EV registered to season parking at this car park, where usually at least 3 recharging points are available. If the ratio is 1:10, then that particular multi-storey car park cannot have more than 30 EV registered for Season Parking. At this moment, no transparency or system, this will result to Singaporean neither go EV or Hybrid, as Hybrids are more expensive than ICE for convenience.
