I understand that your management team's experience is valuable but, at this time we all need a fresh approach to attract guests and stay competitive. The hotel owner has to ask the hotel management or hotel operator what they will do for your hotel which they never done before or at least the strategy only has been implemented for the last 3 years. Don't buy old stories as it will hurt your business. The hotel owner should brave enough to initiate a new step into a new direction which has never been done before.

Recently I was asked about how I started my career in hospitality and if I had any recommendations to share with someone considering this field of work. First think of the area of hospitality you wish to pursue. Do you want to work at a hotel, a convention & visitors bureau, an attraction, etc.? If you want to start at a hotel, you are in luck as hotels are everywhere and you can have the ability to move up in your career and to locations far and wide. Do you want to work in sales or operations of a hotel? Consider the hotel brands, as well as the actual hotel itself. Does the hotel have a unique feature that stands out above the rest? Be prepared to discuss how you can drive business & occupancy by showcasing (selling) to that feature, or strength. Know your competition and sell your property’s strengths, not their weaknesses.

You and your opponents control the chips of a certain color. To move around the map you need to roll special dice, on which the number of moves will be indicated. When you make a move, you get to a specific zone where you can perform certain actions. Then your opponent makes his move. Your task in the game "Hotel Manager" - faster than your opponent to build a network of hotels and engage in their development.
