Salaries are usually dependent on the location and the company employing plus the skills they demand and the level the applicant is on. For example, based on Glassdoor's analysis, an entry level data analyst should expect to earn between £27k-£42k per annum. There's a fine line between not enough projects and too many when you're applying for your first data analyst role. 2 projects = not enough. 5 or more = too many. In-between is the sweet spot. That's why it's so important to pick only your best work. You only have a short amount of time to make a positive impression. Don't overcomplicate it. BONUS TIP: Where possible, relate it to the job you're applying for.

Data analysts: Our job is NOT to do what we’re told. Our job is to help our businesses achieve their strategic goals. If a piece of work comes across a data analyst’s desk and there is no clarity in how it helps achieve strategic outcomes, then it is our responsibility dismiss that work. DAY 3 (DATA ENTRY AND FORMATTING) Genuine question for DATA ENTRY CLERKS, do you apply Data validation when inputting data in excel? Over the course of my class with Eucharia Odoemelam I was taught how to apply data validation to cell when inputting data, in case I am asked to input data as a Data Analyst. So, this is what I did ✅ I selected/highlighted a cell (AMOUNT) ✅ I went to Data tab, then select DATA VALIDATION ✅ then I went to setting tab and selected WHOLE NUMBER( because I am working with number) if you aren't working on numbers you select LIST( like I did for country). ✅For numbers, I added greater than the minimum number I want to enter into that particular cell. while for the country, I added the list value of the country that is needed, separated by commas. ✅ then OK I shared this video for in depth explanation. >>if you find this helpful, repost so others especially Data Entry clerks can benefit. #datatips #dataentry #datavalidation #beginnerdataanalyst #dataanalyst #aspiringdataanalyst
