An experienced Sales and Marketing Strategist needed!!

Biggest red flag in marketing…? 👉 "Reports to the Sales & Marketing Director" Truth is, no one has the time (or energy) to do BOTH marketing and sales. Certainly not at any high-level of execution. This (inevitably) results in sacrifice because that head can't prioritise both. And, when the sales part is prioritised, you end up with a *seller-centric* company, that has completely lost touch with its buyers, and how they buy today. (Pitch slapping at scale is a small piece of the evidence!). The smart founders REFUSE to take shortcuts with marketing. – They're buyer-centric. – They invest in marketing. – They treat marketing as a leadership function. And, most importantly... – They hire a marketing head to LEAD marketing + give them the authority to execute on the work that matters. No order takers. #marketing #saas PS. Talented CMO + Sales Leader is the best partnership for results, but the company needs the right mindset for it to work.

I see business owners hiring in marketing (or lead gen) out of frustration. Not getting the revenue they'd hope for. Hoping the next marketing contract will be "the one" that turns it all around If only it was all that simple... When hiring someone for marketing execution you need to be clear on the goals, milestones, and risks beforehand. Have time to manage them (most marketing agencies still client management). Know what "good" looks like Know what "bad" looks like I see founders with no bandwidth and a skills/knowledge gap hiring companies who burn them. You need an internal champion who can validate and manage that team. Someone who knows the strategy, can put a story behind the metrics, but might not have the time to do full execution. That's a fractional CMO. That's me!
