Announcement from AustStab President Daniel Orriss After nearly five years of advocacy in furthering AustStab’s objectives, I wish to advise the resignation of our CEO, Stuart Dack. Stuart has decided to step back from his full-time role as AustStab CEO with the intention to increase his time with family, including partner Vicky and to enjoy non work related interests. On behalf of the AustStab Council and our members, I’d like to thank Stuart for his contribution towards our industry, and our association, and acknowledge some of the many outcomes he has provided during this time including: · Establishing our annual conference and building its credibility · Improving the effectiveness of the association to include an executive committee, national working groups and ongoing connection with state working groups · Navigating the association through the COVID pandemic and ensuring we continued to provide educational offerings and revenue streams despite restrictions on face-to-face engagement · Strengthening our engagement and brand recognition with many key stakeholders including state road authorities, NTRO (formerly ARRB), AfPA and IPWEA Fortunately, Stuart will not be lost to our association and will continue to serve the association in a part time capacity, with further details to be provided.
