Did you know Texas boasts 23 river basins, with surface water being a vital resource, comprising nearly 42% of the state's water usage in 2019? Despite its significance, surface water is projected to rise to 46% of the total water supply by 2070, according to the 2022 State Water Plan. Yet, challenges like aging reservoirs and limited new reservoir sites loom, underscoring the need for sustainable water management strategies. #TREADCoalition #TexasWater https://lnkd.in/gj4rdrVJ

That's why we're thrilled to share this original video by our very own Geof Ball, who pulls back the curtain on this critical process at our Eastern Regional Water Reclamation Facility. Video Link: https://lnkd.in/et5DZFwX A big thank you to Geof for sharing his expertise and passion in such an engaging way! Bonus ⭐️ Do you want to see the process up close? Our case study where we support the local #authority to monitor remotely 372 stations includes: - 214 #Groundwater stations - 110 #Wastewater stations - 42 #CEMS stations - 4 #Surfacewater stations - 2 #Hydrometeorology stations By that, the authority can now better preserve the #environment and create a source of revenue that yields millions of USD from non-compliant industries annually #iLotusLand #iLL_case_study #iLL_case_study_08 #iLL_case_study_government
