New horizons emerge for Australian ventures seeking UAE expansion. An historic trade agreement has concluded, following years of strategic thinking and considered planning between Australia and the United Arab Emirates. 🌏 The announcements made today, provides new growth opportunities and strategic pathways into one of worlds most significant growth regions. Here's what it means: 🇦🇺 99% of Aussie products will enter the UAE tariff-free, saving exporters up to $160 million annually. 🇦🇪 Australian households and businesses will save around $40 million/year on UAE imports. 🎓 Sectors like agriculture, energy, and education benefit from increased investment opportunities. 👍🏾 For the first time in any trade agreement, there will be a dedicated chapter on First Nations trade… When it is signed later this year, this deal provides new market access, investment potential, and lowers business costs. It’s more than just numbers—it's about and unlocking potential for growth companies and further strengthens the relationship between these two nations. With grace and shared integrity, significant things can be achieved. A dear colleague of mine has made it his mission to support the terminal disease of Huntingtons, which his wife suffers from. Australian Athletes go above and beyond representing not only our nation and their sport, but are champions for health, wellness and positivity beyond sporting outcomes. As a five time olympian and Gold Medalist, an Aussie Icon, decades in service to her sport and our nation, Natalie Cook could be forgiven for a simpler life now. I'm inspired by Nat's many recent efforts one of which has been founding the Aussie Athlete Fund among so many vital initiatives. This initiative could help support the next Natalie Cook.... or find the next Ian Thorpe or inspire a new Jessica Smith or Dylan Alcott.
