Green-(ish) - The increased fuel consumption of the heavier ship means its overall carbon footprint is about 35% larger than Caledonian Isles, which is due to return to the Arran route in March following repairs. This Hydro Power Plant on the Ohio River was experiencing water ingress at their expansion joints. Instead of replacing the expansion joints at considerable cost, they decided to use Belzona 3121 (MR-7) to seal them. Belzona 3121 has enough expansion/contraction capabilities that separation from the substrate is no longer a concern. #Belzonait #expansionjoints #Hydro

In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Federal Cabinet authorized settlement agreements with eight bagasse-based independent power producers (IPPs) on Tuesday. The Power Division’s and the Ministry of Energy’s recommendation was approved by the meeting. Stretching 750 kilometres, PRGT would #transport natural gas from northeast BC to the West Coast to supply the Ksi Lisims LNG project. Owned by the Nisga'a Nation and Western LNG, Ksi Lisims is another model of #Indigenous partnerships and #economic reconciliation in the #naturalresource sector, and it will need feeders like PRGT to function. With an estimated cost of $5 billion, PRGT will create enormous #wealth for the Nisga’a and its neighbours.
