"“The U.S. government’s campaign against Huawei is inadvertently bolstering the company’s resilience, echoing the age-old adage that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger,” said Sameh Boujelbene, an analyst at research firm Dell’Oro Group." Meanwhile, the USPTO takes the "kill with kindness" approach, by awarding Huawei lightly examined patent applications including first action allowances for 18/162,114, Memory Protection Method and Protection Control Apparatus 18/152,278, Battery Assembly and Energy Storage System 18/150,999, Power Supply System 18/107,871, Signal Transmission Method and Apparatus 18/043,678, Method for Sharing Camera by Plurality of Applications and Electronic Device 18/039,886, Communication Method and Apparatus, etc. According to USPTO's PEDS database, 127 Huawei applications filed in 2023, including the ones listed above, have been recently allowed. Another 192 Huawei applications filed in 2023 have already issued as US patents. Do any US inventors recall obtaining this sort of favorable, speedy processing by the USPTO? #Huawei, #patent, #invention, #USPTO, #natsec, #DoD, #WSJ https://lnkd.in/g-3qNch9
