Since we last spoke - regrettably far too long ago (mea culpa) - they have taken the Portal in an inspired direction. It now acts not just as a multi-sided "market" for matching reviewers with academic review projects, but as a platform that securely stores and matches vital evidence used in registration and re-registration against higher education and VET standards globally. Like I say inspired! Given the dearth of talent in higher education quality assurance - have you tried finding a quality officer recently - this is a significant resource that any university or institute of higher education anywhere in the world should evaluate. #governance #highereducation #highereducationleadership

We know how important leadership is. It’s not just the research that tells us this. It’s the stories and experiences. A good leader can make a school feel palpable with energy. They celebrate. They challenge. They inspire. They change communities. We have the awesome power to transform generations. (Insert body chills) But it starts with leadership. It starts with someone who says “I’ll answer the call” or “I’ll stand in the gap.” Such a move is a brave and courageous act. And we desperately need courage right now. If you haven’t heard, Tulsa Public Schools is teaming up with New Leaders and Clark Atlanta University to offer the National Aspiring Leaders Fellowship. This program has a track record of success in developing urban principals - who know what it looks like to answer that call.
