Kicking off Phase III of life after full-time work. After almost 33 years of service in the USAF and over 9 years in the Aerospace Defense Industry with two great companies, I am exploring consulting opportunities to provide insight and advice on aerospace, defense, and leadership as needed to help meet business growth needs. I am still pulling things together business wise so not rushing into anything, but it was time to change my LinkedIn profile at the very least and share the news. Look for more info on Seagull Insight; A Boera Group LLC in due time. The reason behind the naming is a good leadership story in itself. #aerospace #defense #leadership #usaf #airforce

Congratulations Boe! If Corporate Board service interests you, check out NACD's Battlefield to Boardroom course (taught once a year in the early spring). Let's connect if you have questions on it.
congratulations on the transition, and glad to hear you are still going to be giving the Department the opportunity to take advantage of your experience, insights, and tremendous leadership skills / approach -- like many others up down and across the chain of command, I certainly benefited and learned from exposure to these attributes
The aerospace and defense sectors will greatly benefit from your insights gained over decades of distinguished service in our USAF. Your ability to provide strategic guidance and advice will be an asset and a necessity for companies looking to drive growth, innovation, and creativity! Bravo, sir!
Congrats Boe. I know your next chapter will help you continue to support the warfighters and find more fairways. Thank you for your support to the Splash 3 Foundation. SPLASH 3
Boe, congratulations on this next adventure. I hope to work with you again in the future. AHSF, Les
Congrats Boe…USAF Leader, Industry Leader…Consulting Leader!!
Boe, still in afterburner! Your insight will be invaluable to the aerospace community. Best wishes for Phase III!
Gen Boera, It remains an honor to have had the opportunity to serve with you in Afghanistan to rebuild the infrastructure. Enjoy your 3rd Career. I am on my second as a HS Math Teacher to give back to our future. Sincerely, Mike Griffin

6moMike, both of us being CU grads and retired AF 2-buttons, albeit several decades apart, appreciate your “next step,” and wish you well, as you move forward. After 31 AF years and 14 with Martin Marietta/LMC working International Business, figured 45 years was a nice round, respectable number on which to hang it up. Underpinning my decision was an awakening…an operable bout with prostate cancer compliments of Agent Orange. Post second retirement, did a bit of advising, linking Allied Air Forces with US business entities. From experience, time comes to enjoy life. We travel a bunch, visiting family, plus traveling internationally, seeing the World, which now, more than ever, is the order of the day, especially at 85. So whatever it’s worth, enjoy life while health permits….and good luck as you move forward.
