There’s only one way to #innovate towards the future: #together. This week, the European Space Agency - ESA showcased Sener’s USBS project as a success story for their Open Space Innovation Platform, where we used our expertise in RF and Communications to synchronize clocks onboard of formation flying satellites. Following the production of three prototype units, measurements are looking great. This technology will be ideal for scientific instruments that require precise synchronization of clocks in formation flying, such as radioastronomy (measuring black holes) or in future 3-satellite SMOS mission like TriHex. Join us at the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva from 9 to 13 April, where European Space Agency - ESA will be the guest of honour, and discover how ESA's innovative technologies and applications are paving the way for improved commercialisation of the agency's innovations. For this purpose, a permanent open call for the commercial and technical maturation of ESA’s inventions is available for companies and startups that can now apply for funding on an ongoing basis, with a budget of up to €175,000. In this regard, you might want to read one of our success stories from Sener Aerospace & Defence, a Spanish space technology company working on syntonisation of signals between satellites.
