It really has been interesting to see that very few healthcare providers consistently (or at all) measure patient satisfaction and loyalty. 🤕 If you truly want to deliver patient-centred care, ask your patients about their whole journey, and use methods and metrics that make sense (manually going through thousands of paper surveys... is very time consuming to say the least)! Online reviews ≠ Patient experience ❌ In 2024. private healthcare providers need to know the difference between these two. Building and maintaining your online reputation is super important, but generating reviews isn't the same as creating an amazing experience for your patients. The reviews are the most tangible outcome of a great patient journey, but the providers must focus on what happens behind the scenes. That's what separates the good from the great. I like to ask providers lately if they know how many patients would recommend them to their friends and family and how they measure patient loyalty. Very few were able to answer those questions and these are the metrics that can make or break your clinic. It's something that can't be found or measured through reviews. Keep generating reviews, but don't forget to ask your patients what they think about the entire process. That's what InsiderCX is all about.
