Struggling to conceive? 🤰🏻 Seeking expert advice on fertility concerns? Here are 6 signs that suggest it’s time to consider a visit to an infertility clinic. 1. Long-Term Trying: If you’ve been actively trying to conceive for over a year without success (or six months if you’re over 35), it may be time to seek expert advice. 2. Irregular Cycles: Irregular menstrual cycles or conditions like PCOS can impact fertility, warranting a consultation with a specialist. 3. Previous Health Issues: History of reproductive health concerns, surgeries, or conditions like endometriosis may require professional evaluation. 4. Male Factor Infertility: Fertility issues are not exclusive to women; if your partner has concerns about his fertility, a visit to the clinic is essential. 5. Unexplained Infertility: In cases where the cause of infertility is unknown, a fertility clinic can conduct tests to identify underlying issues. 6. Emotional Strain: If the journey to conception is causing emotional stress and anxiety, seeking support from a fertility clinic can provide guidance and reassurance. Don’t navigate this journey alone; expert guidance awaits! 💫 Contact Us: 0120 451 6478 #FertilityAwareness #InfertilityClinic #parenthood #fertilitetsbehandling #ivf #ivfjourney #fertilityawareness #fertilityjourney #bmc

Infertility affects women of all reproductive ages and people creating families at different life stages with varied backgrounds. It can feel like a lonely road, filled with unexpected twists and turns. Whether you are just beginning your family building journey or have been on this path for some time, know that you are not alone. At Hoag, we are here to help you through these uncertain times. “There are many causes of infertility and sometimes, with the right treatment, we can help couples conceive naturally,” said Sharon Moayeri, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., M.P.H., M.S., Hoag reproductive endocrinology & infertility. “If interventions are needed, Hoag provides expert fertility care.” “A common misconception is that infertility is primarily related to women. “However, nearly half of infertility involves male factor, and the remaining is caused by a combination of problems in both partners, or unknown,” Dr. Moayeri said. Globally, around 10% of women have endometriosis - and 30-50% of them may experience infertility. On average, it takes about 7-10 years from the onset of symptoms for a woman to receive a proper diagnosis of endometriosis. This delay is due to the often vague and overlapping symptoms. Endometriosis is a complex condition that requires increased awareness, research efforts, and comprehensive care to improve outcomes for affected individuals. Regular periods don't guarantee #fertility, as there can be other factors at play. Fertility is a complex process, and while regular menstrual cycles can indicate that ovulation is occurring, other factors influence fertility - hormonal imbalances, reproductive disorders, age, and overall health. Conversely, individuals with irregular periods may still be fertile. Some people with irregular cycles still ovulate and can conceive. If someone is actively trying to conceive and facing challenges, it's advisable to consult a healthcare provider or fertility specialist.
