Are you scared to trust offshore outsourcing!! Well that's understandable. People have concerns when giving work from home and this is offshore outsourcing, we are talking. But then again, the other name to business gains is being open to taking risks. However, you can't just go blindly for the sake of calculated gains. There has to be norms for calculated risks as well. So, here's our list of points that you need to consider while hiring offshore: 1. Do a social media check of the service provider ✅. Look for the feedback people have shared. Search for consistency in the details (such as address, web address and logo). Look for anchors. 2. Bind them with contract ✅. It is always recommended whether offshore or not, always enter in contracts. With offshore outsourcing, (if required) international courts get involved. In this case, the application is filed in your country and the action is taken by the service providers country, assisting international harmony. Plus, asking for contracts is intimidating enough to keep the scammers away. 3. Ask for legal documents ✅. You can ask the service provider to share some legal documents to authenticate their identity. All countries provide its citizens with legal documents, for identity registration, be it a company or person. Just the way US has social security numbers. 4. Ask for recommendations ✅. You can certainly ask your service provider to have you connected with some of their offshore clients. So that you can clear your doubts and if required check the recommender's social media profile to assure yourself. 5. Initiate with small tasks ✅ . If even after all the above points, you are still doubtful and still have some fears. Then you can start by delegating the smaller tasks and providing access to only those things that do not cause any data loss. The above pointers might seem a lot at first, but we believe a little effort in the beginning can be extremely rewarding in the long run.
