Segregate Waste, Make a Difference!
When we throw away trash without segregating it, it ends up in landfills, harming our environment. segregation is the first step towards a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Let's work together to make our community a better place!
Another solution is to use compostable garbage bags for organic waste. These bags are made from natural materials like cornstarch or sugarcane, and can easily decompose along with food waste, reducing contamination and making composting easier.
Let's consciously adopt these simple yet effective solutions for a cleaner, greener future!
🌍♻️ In celebration of World Recycling Day, we're sharing the beginning of our wood recycling process, which forms the basis of our circular bioeconomy model, at one of our twelve recycling centres.
This process begins with the collection of “wood waste” from various sources, which we then carefully sort and clean, removing contaminants. The wood is then sent to our shredders to produce wood chips. In the end, these are separated into different silos, depending on their characteristics.
It is crucial to recognise the importance of wood recycling as a process that allows this natural material to continue retaining CO2 throughout its life cycle. As well as reducing waste, this practice also contributes to the preservation of this valuable resource, and the world we live in. ♻️💚
