Are you a school, a community organization, or a student aged 13-29? The U.S. Department of Education has a challenge that is running until November 29, 2024, at 9p EST where you may be able to help! Within the United States, chronic absenteeism and low engagement have run rampant since the 2019 pandemic, which affects students' performance and graduation expectations. According to the U.S.D.E. website, "The Attendance Champions Challenge aims to elevate the importance of engaging young people in State and local efforts to address chronic absenteeism–an issue that has a direct impact on their academic success."
